Immigration Reform
In his State of the Union address, President Obama stated, "the time has come to pass comprehensive immigration reform. Now's the time to do it."
California is already leading the way with Governor Jerry Brown signing the California DREAM Act and making it clear he will advocate for national immigration reform.
It's up to us to make it equally clear to those who would stand in the way of reform that we support President Obama, Governor Brown, and the reformers as they fight for a legal pathway to citizenship for immigrants who are making contributions to our communities on a daily basis.
