Job Opening: Front Office Manager

Location: Sacramento

Responsible to: Operations 

Department: Operations 

Main Purpose of Job: To ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the office.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring questions to the appropriate department.
  • Organizes and distributes office correspondence to the appropriate department.
  • Maintains the office by organizing office operations and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory.
  • Maintains adequate staff supplies for both the E-Board Meetings and Conventions.
  • Primary liaison with service providers (internet, phone, janitorial, etc.).
  • Ensure that the front desk is adequately covered during business hours.
  • Coordinate a safe and secure working environment.
  • Manages intern schedules to ensure office coverage at all times.
  • Assist other departments with work duties as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Basic computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Commitment to Democratic causes and social justice
  • Ability to interact with a wide array of personalities and competing priorities
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team structure

Salaries and Benefits:

Non-exempt position, $32,000 – $35,000 full benefits
