Weekly CDP Update: 7/7/2017

It’s been another productive week for the California Democratic Party. See below for a recap of this week’s activities.

Monthly Check-in With Grassroots Leaders

As part of their commitment to openness, transparency, and accessibility in CDP operations, Chair Bauman and the Statewide Officers held the first in a series of revamped monthly check-in calls with key grassroots leaders of the CDP -- our Caucus Chairs, Regional Directors, and County Chairs.

In a departure from the previous format, where one general call was held for everyone, the CDP leadership team will be holding separate calls with each group, so that each call features in-depth discussions on common issues. Calls will be held monthly, and CDP staff is working to identify a specific day and time each month to schedule the calls going forward. The first two calls were with the Regional Directors and Caucus Chairs. The County Chair’s call will follow shortly.

In Case You Missed It...

Yesterday, we released a special edition of CDP Update to ensure DSCC members were informed of the preliminary findings of the Compliance Review Commission’s audit of voters and ballots cast at Convention.

Chair Bauman, DNC Deputy Chair Keith Ellison, and phenomenal California leaders like Rep. Ted Lieu, Sup. Hilda Solis, and others are rallying for the Resistance tonight!
