California Democratic Party Unveils Online Voter Registration Portal Via Homepage

Sacramento - In time for National Voter Registration Day, the California Democratic Party today unveiled a new online voter registration portal on their homepage. The portal: allows Californians to register to vote from the comfort of their own home, dorm room, coffee shop or anywhere with an internet connection.

Californians will be able to fill out the Secretary of State's voter registration form in any one of ten languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Tagalog, Thai or Vietnamese.

"Democrats are advocates for expanding the electorate and increasing voter participation," said Shawnda Westly, Executive Director of the California Democratic Party. "This online registration portal will provide yet another outreach tool for activists and campaigns to bring more Californians into the political process."
