Statement from California Democratic Party Chairman John Burton on 2010 Election Deadlines

October 18 is the last day to register to vote in an election that is critical to California’s future, and the stakes have never been higher!  If you haven’t already registered, please take just a minute out of your day to make your voice heard by clicking on this registration tool, so that you can vote for the issues and candidates you believe in.

Here in California, Democrats are running against Republican candidates who are extremely out-of-touch with the needs of working families, and out-of-sync with the core values Californians support. We must stand up against candidates who vow to drill off of California’s shores, want to take away a woman’s right to choose, or ship tens of thousands of jobs overseas.

And the only way we can stop them is if Democrats vote. If you’re already registered to vote, remember you can vote-by-mail. We recommend you get your vote-by-mail application postmarked by Friday, October 22. The last day to send in your vote-by-mail ballot is October 28.

Don’t miss out on this election – it’s just too important to sit on the sidelines.  Democrats are counting on you to make your voice count!

We need you to be a part of the California Democratic Party's blue wave by Donating Every Month between now and the 2020 Election! LEARN MORE
