2009 DNC Elections Candidate List - Ballot Order (Electing one female and one male) Below is a list of candidates in ballot order. The order was determined by a random drawing held in the Sacramento office of the CDP on November 3, 2009 at 5pm.
Unlike in past years where the voting was done on Sunday after the close of credentialing, for this E-Board we will be balloting throughout the weekend. Balloting will take place during registration hours, ending 30 minutes after the close of registration on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Balloting will be open only to credentialed Executive Board members or their certified proxies. Once a ballot is cast by either the Executive Board member or their proxy, the ballot may not be retracted, rescinded, or otherwise changed and shall be counted in the totals.
2009 DNC Election Guidelines
Vacancies (1 Female/1 Male) The Executive Board of the Democratic State Central Committee of California will elect two replacement members to the Democratic National Committee to serve the remainder of the 2008-2012 term at the November 2009 Executive Board Meeting. The vacancies occurred due to the resignation of Edward Espinoza and the untimely passing of Inola Henry. The Executive Board meeting will take place November 13-15 at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay in San Diego. Specific date(s), times and location of the voting will be announced prior to the meeting. DNC members are responsible for all of their expenses. Travel, including at least two trips to Washington D.C., is required and members should plan on approximately $3,000-$5,000 per year in cost. Attendance at all DNC meetings is expected. The order in which the candidates’ names appear on the ballot will be determined by a random drawing. The drawing will be held promptly at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3rd at CDP Headquarters, 1401 21st Street, Suite 200, Sacramento, 95811. At the Executive Board Meeting
