The governor's severe budget cuts will devastate millions of poor and middle-class Californians and recklessly hurt the people who need the most help during these tough economic times. Local organizations and activists are coming together to make sure lawmakers know that we want a budget that minimizes the severe cuts and includes common-sense new revenue.
To assist our allies in the budget fight, the California Democratic Party will do what it can to notify activists of budget-related actions that they can take. If your organization has a budget-related rally or march scheduled to protest the governor's budget cuts, please email the specifics to kim@cadem.org. The CDP will make every effort to post the event on the CDP website and forward the information to Democratic activists.
