John Comiskey   Male   Working with the SBLC and UDC, I was twice awarded the COPE Campaign All-Star Award. Currently, I am serving as Co-Chair of the Dean Democratic Club of Silicon Valley, and as their alternate to the SCCDP Central Committee. I have contributed to the campaigns of Mike Honda, Jim Beall, Ami Bera, Michael Eggman, and others. I am also a contributor to Howard Dean's Democracy for America, the SCCDP Chair's Council, and the CADEM Central Committee. In 2012, I worked extensively with the Jim Beall for State Senate Campaign, visiting more than 3000 doors during the Primary and General Elections. In 2014, I logged more than 94 hours of precinct walking for Mike Honda, Dave Cortese, Michael Eggman, and Ami Bera. I appreciate the opportunity to meet voters face to face, and learn about their concerns, and have benefited greatly from the physical exercise, as well. I have served as an AD Delegate twice before, attending the California Democratic Conventions as an AD Delegate in 2007, 2008, 2013, and 2014. I attended the Convention as an Observer in the intervening years. I would like very much to serve as an AD Delegate, again, and humbly ask for your vote.
Shaian Mohammadi   Male   For the past four years, I've had the honor of serving as a CDP Delegate, allowing me to have a voice within our party to represent the great democrats of AD-28. As a second generation Iranian-American, I'm constantly inspired to give back to the state and country that gave my family and I so much. I spent 2012 working as a Deputy Regional Field Director for OFA, helping President Obama win a second term. Wanting to have more of a voice within our party platform and national dialogue, I ran as a 2012 DNC Delegate and was elected as the top-vote-getter. I formerly served as the VP of Membership for SVYD, and in 2013 was elected as the youngest member to represent the district for the Santa Clara County Democratic Central Committee. I recently spent the 2014 election as Deputy Field Director for Congressman Honda's campaign, fighting hard to keep a progressive democrat in congress. If elected, I will continue to fight for the progressive values that make our party strong, and for those who don't have a voice in our party. I humbly ask for your vote to continue to represent you as a delegate. Let's move our district and party FORWARD and TOGETHER.
Philip Stupak   Male   I am a Californian returning home after serving in President Obama's Administration, and I would like your support to serve as a delegate for Assembly District 28. As an attorney, I have worked on Democratic campaigns across the country--from city to state to Presidential races--and I know what it takes to build strong local parties capable of winning elections. I have won races in rural, conservative regions that Democrats must win to build a super majority in Sacramento and retake a majority in Washington. I will bring this experience to the State Convention as we seek to expand the Democratic majority in California and remain a model for progressive governance to the rest of the nation. I believe that progressive candidates can win everywhere. I pledge that as an Assembly District Delegate, I will work tirelessly to enable progressive candidates who share our local values to compete and win across California. I humbly ask for your support so that I may serve our community as an Assembly District Delegate.
