Frank Way   Male   Having been a member of the Nevada County Democratic Central Committee for a number of years and having previously been a delegate to a number of these conventions, I feel well qualified to be a delegate. Sincerely, Frank Way P.E.
 
Peter Minett   Male   As a delegate I have actively participated both on the floor, and in caucus meetings. Experience gives the advantage of optimizing time spent at the convention to have meaningful input on progressive issues in general; education and rural issues in particular. As a delegate I intend to speak out on behalf of labor, infrastructure improvement, equal educational opportunities for all, a tax structure that remedies CA's lopsided and overly volatile revenue stream, and the full breadth of environmental issues facing our region - from farming to water to forest management, and development. Robert Krueger   Male   I am a lifelong registered Democrat. I currently serve on the NCDCC, and am nominee for vice chair of Nevada Co. DCC. I served as an voting alternate in 2014 to state convention. I am a member of the progressive and environmental caucus. I am a member, Progressive Democrats of Am. I am current chair of NC Health Care For All chapter. I am an officer of the Superior Court of Nevada County. I am a nominee for the board of ACLU of Nevada/Placer Co. I am a long standing member of ACLU, and The Sierra Club. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, A Licensed General Contractor, a Licensed Administrator. I am a business owner of an Adult Residential Facility for developmentally handicapped adults. I wish to have a voice at the CA. Dems state convention.
 
robert joehnck   Male   I have previously served for several years on the Democratic Central Committee of Nevada County. I ran, unsuccessfully for the Board of Supervisors in 2008. I was Governor Brown's county representative in the 2010 election. I currently volunteer as an attorney with Neighborhood Legal Services of Northern California and on the Board of Directors of that organization. My legal practices has focused on the areas of low income housing, municipal law, environmental and mining law.
 
tim stearns   Male   I have been an active Democrat in Siskjyou County for over 20 years; have served as chair of the county central committee, chair of the club, and been a delegate in the past. I serve on the Mt. Shasta City Council (for 16 years), and was just reelected.
 
Neil Posson   Male   I am the vice chair of the Siskiyou County Democratic Central Committee and was previously the chair.I support serious campaign finance reform, decreasing military spending, decreasing corporate welfare, improving public education, increasing public participation in elections and supporting progressive elements of the Democratic Party.
 
Lawrence Halstead   Male   I am the incumbent delegate and have represented my district at the last two conventions. I have been very active at the local and state level of the Democrat party. I hold a degree in Political Science from UCD. I'm a member of the Progressive Caucus, the Environmental Caucus, the Native American Caucus, the Rural Caucus and the LGBT Caucus. I will do my best to continue to represent the interest of our district. Thank you!
 
Janet Reynolds   Female   It has been my privilege to have served as an elected representative from AD1 and as the Executive Board elected representative from AD1 for the past two years. I know there is still much work to be done for and from the California Democratic Party for AD1 and look forward to continuing that work into 2017.
 
Constance Mondae Hott   Female   I have been looking for a way to become more involved in politics, so the email I received from my local Democratic party office announcing the delegate elections was timely. I have always been fascinated with what goes on behind the scenes -how candidates are chosen and the agenda is set. I excelled at Political Science in college, and am a lively debater when talking about current events and issues. To be able to formalize my interests into concrete action, and become part of the process, would be intensely satisfying. Thank you for considering my application.
 
Michele Spencer   Female   I attended last year's CADEM convention with great enthusiasm. It was the first I had ever attended and it was well worth the time and expense. I greatly enjoyed being active with Nevada County Democrats for the past 3 years and will continue so long as I can make a positive contribution.
 
Nancy Eubanks   Female   I have been a delegate for the last 2 years. I am so proud to live in this progressive state. The leaders of our party are so very impressive! If I can contribute to making California a shinning example of good progressive governance by being a delegate, I welcome that opportunity.
 
Ann Emerson   Female   I would be deeply honored to serve as a Delegate representing Nevada County. I am a very active Democrat having served as Vice President and Secretary of the NCDCC, also president twice (2011 and 2013) of the Democratic Women's Club, where I was bestowed the Eleanor Roosevelt Award. I honor the principles of the Democratic Party and will do my best to represent my fellow Democrats in the best way possible.
 
Cheryl McKinley   Female   My name is Cheryl McKinley. I have been an active Democrat since 1988, helping with precinct walking and phone banking in numerous elections. I have been an elementary teacher in the Redding area since 1985. I have been an active member of various community and educational organizations for over 27 years. I am an active member in the Shasta Reading Council, and served for 3 years as an Area Director for the California Reading Association. I have served on the Redding Service Center Council for CTA for the last 8 years, and have served as a CTA State Council member for the last 4 years. I am also the President of my local teachers association. In addition, I have also served as a liaison with the local Labor Council. I am also a single mother of two wonderful children, both of whom graduated from California universities, and earned advanced degrees. I have a proven history of involvement and activism, have helped with numerous campaigns, both for candidates and for propositions, and have demonstrated my commitment to working towards positive change locally and state wide. I am asking for your vote so that I can continue to follow my passion, and make our state a better place for all
 
Paula Percy   Female   Fellow Democrats, It has been an honor to serve as your Assembly District Delegate Representative, for the past 4 years. I have served on the Democratic Central Committee of Shasta County for the past 19 years, as a member, former Chair, and Treasurer. I have been a Registered Nurse for the past 34 years. It would be an honor to serve again, as your Assembly District Delegate Representative. I will continue to advocate for issues and causes that affect our future, lives, and communities.
