Tom Campbell, Carly Fiorina, And Chuck Devore ALL Wrong For California
As the Republican candidates for Senate debate in Los Angeles today, the California Democratic Party and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee released a hard-hitting new trailer for "GOP Demon Sheep," a film set to open in June, which will take aim at the terrifying ideas put forth by perennial politician and architect of the Schwarzenegger budget Tom Campbell, failed ex-CEO Carly Fiorina, and right-winger Chuck DeVore. The film is rated "not suitable for most California audiences," while a disclaimer points out that "no sheep were harmed during the making of this film, just Californians."
"Just about everyone agrees that these three GOP challengers have turned their nomination process into a total sheep show," said John Burton, Chairman of the California Democratic Party. "While Barbara Boxer is working to get our economy back on track and bring jobs to California these three would-be contenders are tripping over themselves to win the admiration of the far-right of the Republican Party."
Tom Campbell brought the state of California to the brink of economic collapse as the architect of Governor Schwarzenegger’s budget nightmare. As budget czar, Campbell presided over health care slashes and layoffs of teachers.
Carly Fiorina was named by Portfolio Magazine as one of the 20 worst CEO’s of all time, MSN named her one of the worst CEO’s, and VNUNet.com named her one of the 10 worst Technology CEO’s. Fiorina laid off 28,000 workers, drove Hewlett-Packard into the ground, shipped thousands of good-paying jobs overseas, yet still received a massive $21 million golden parachute after she was forced out.
Chuck Devore, a Tea Party favorite, is doing everything he can to impose his far-right agenda on Californians. ‘Nuff said.
